Studying Pop Culture was a great opportunity for me to learn many things about the culture that I never known before. Since Pop Culture class focused on the popular Culture, first I never realized how important about learning culture before. I thought Culture was just a behavior and things that people constantly do. Another part of popular culture comes from the folk culture and their belief. Then this class helped me got a better understanding about popular culture, especially popular culture in America. Since I have been living in America for about 3 years, I believed that I experienced many things about American culture and even some other national culture as well. In addition, in the class, I gained so many aspects about American culture such as popular stars, pop music, and movies. Throughout studying the class, working with the peers, and presentation gave me a lot of opportunities to earn experienced about working with others. With a various opinions from my classmates also gave me the ideas that people usually thought about culture differently base on their own cultures. I learned that Pop culture was developed from common culture to mass culture. It has been all of these things that at various in people lives and widely open in nowadays.

Favorite movie
Wolverine, X-men origins
This movie is about the background of Wolverine, or Logan as he is also known. As people known, X-men was released now the third one which is stated way back to the past how wolverine become such a strong mutant or inhuman with special ability. Since I am kind of animation, action, horror movie, I fell in love with the first X-men upon to the latest one. The reason why I like it mostly because of the special effect, I could imagine myself to have such a great talent and ability as a mutant. The technology that being used for this movie is a plus, I never felt disappointed when I watched it. Even though, there is a lot of violence, slaughter of innocent people, and somehow of over the top, but I just like it.

Sine's favorite song
This song is sing in Thai language called "Hua Jai", which mean "heart" sung by the very famous band in Thai named "Big Ass". Big Ass is currently one of the most popular bands in Thailand. It was originally pop rock but moved toward to hard rock. Their latest album called “love” seems to be very successful in Thailand for the year of 2009 and, this song is one of the famous song from this album. When I was in Thailand last winter, March until May, I had listened to this song and watched a music video. The song started with the melody of piano and guitar sound, and a thoughtful of music video I had ever seen. I felt like this song was like bang! Hit me by its touchy meaning, the beauty of singer tone, and even the sound of music, made everything perfectly became a powerful song. I could say that I really impressed to this song than any others song I ever listen to. This song inspired love, made people stronger, and encouraged people to do not give up even they have no one left to rely on. As you can see in almost last part of the song, singing of little blind girl, who was disability but she never felt sad about her life. This part of the song completely made people stand up and against with themselves to give up.
